These are pictures of the Green Mountain Reservoir which is 14 miles north of the town of Silverthorne, CO. Silverthorne is 35 minutes west of Idaho Springs, CO. The Blue River, well known for it's trout fishing, flows from Dillon Reservoir 14 miles to the Green Mountain Reservoir, and then on to the Colorado River.
The pictures of the osprey were taken about 5 miles south of Green Mountain Reservoir off of highway 9.
