These pictures were taken between the towns of Empire, CO & Berthoud, CO. It is a small river that runs along highway 40 from the point that highway 40 leaves I-70 up to Berthoud Falls. Most of the land between Empire & Winter Park is part of Arapahoe National Forest. Over the other side of Berthoud Pass is the town of Winter Park.
